There's Something About That Name !

The Lord gave us instructions as to how to walk with Him and He gave us a choice who we will serve until He returns for His people. You cannot serve two gods, or any other thing on this earth and please God. Jesus was very clear about this:

"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon". (Matthew 6:24)

"And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve". (Luke 4:8)

"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23)

Our nature as humans is sinful and imperfect. Our sins result in eternal separation from God. This is the result of our earthly nature. In order to be pleasing unto God we need a new nature, a nature that God can look upon with acceptance. A nature that stands justified before Him. We need a new birth. We Must Be Born Again!

"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God". (John 3:3)

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

Praise God, for sending His son to die for me and you so we can have eternal life with Him someday in heaven.

Do you know what that means?
Well, that means that someday, when this world is ended, that all who have been washed in the blood of Jesus are saved and will go to a place where there is peace and tranquility forever. Oh! and guess what else? There will be no more pain...forever and ever! HALLAUJAH! That makes me so excited!

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away". (Revelation 21:4)

HE'S COMING BACK!

Not only will that be a blessing but the Bible also says
"In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you". (John 14:2)

ONLY ONE WAY TO HEAVEN!

So God is getting things all ready for us. The big question is... Are You Ready to Go? Remember that the Bible says

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved". (Acts 4:12)

"Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation". (Psalms 62:1)

"The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. (Psalms 18:2)

"Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified". (Psalms 70:4)

THE WAY TO SALVATION!

We know now that we cannot save ourselves. The Bible is specific what you must do to be saved. It is not by joining a Church; by giving money to the Church; or by just saying we are saved. The only way to salvation is through our Lord Jesus Christ. He has given us the plan to obtain salvation and a way to heaven. All we have to do is repent of our sins and live for God. By doing that we become more like Christ.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2 Cor. 5:17).

Let the Holy Spirit come into your life.

Jesus said, "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I have said to you." (John 14:26)

Jesus said, "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!" (Luke 11:13)

Confess Christ as your Saviour and pronounce it to everyone you know. Spread the Holy Word of Jesus.

"Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven". Matthew 10:32

Jesus said while He was on earth, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15)

I hope now you have a better ideal of what being saved means. Salvation is your only way to heaven when your life ends on this earth. God is so giving and caring. He beats the alternative to what can happen to you if you don't except Him as your saviour.

PRAYER OF SALVATION

Please, if you need salvation and you want to go to heaven someday, repeat the prayer below and ask God into your heart. Alone with salvation, you will gain a best friend, someone who puts no limits on love, someone who will be beside you through all your trials and tribulations. Our Lord will forget all about your past sins, you can start anew in Him!

Heavenly Father, I know I am a sinner and I'm asking you to forgive me. Wash me with the blood of your Son Jesus, who died on the cross for me. I know you sacrificed your son for me that I could be saved and have eternal life. Come into my heart Lord and live your life through me. Thank you Lord for Your forgivness, and for the chance to spend eternity with you. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray. Amen!

Please say the Prayer and mean it. Call a friend or someone you know and confess the Lord before others. When you confess Jesus to others He will confess you before the Father.

"Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven". (Matthew 10:32)

Read your Bible, attend a Bible believing church and grow in the Lord through your daily walk on earth. Please, think about the day that you are laying on your death bed and consider where you will spend eternity. Oh! I want to spend time with you in heaven. Remember, our time on this earth is not forever. You will spend eternity in heaven or hell! There is no in-between. It's your choice! It is my prayer that you will make the right choice and that we will meet in heaven someday! I bet some of your loved ones are Christians. If so, don't put off your salvation and take the chance that you'll be seperated from them forever. I love you so much and God loves you! He made the choice possible for you and for me! Praise God!
