Litter

Sue Ann wrote this poem when she was in the 5th grade and ten years old.
If I remember right, this poem was related to a school project.

Please, don't litter, yes, Please don't litter,
Let's make this town shine, Yes, let it glitter,
It will look very good,
Don't you think it would?

We can make it very clean,
If we all work as a team!
Instead of trash piles,
Let's make some smiles.

Let's get those picks,
Pick up those sticks!
Let's all pitch in.

Look at those men,
Throwing down that litter,
As the cans go patter-pitter.

It won't hurt us to lean down,
Because it could help clean up our grounds,
Now the town looks fine,
Now it really, really shines!
