Ray

Though a year has expired and we all live
We remember you,
For all the love you shared and so willingly would give
To all those you knew

We place in our minds that tragic event
When God said your time was due,
But, then, we think of that glorious place you went
And, now we envy you

God, Himself, knows how you're missed and loved
But, Ray, you're better off in that world above,
There's so much disturbance and turmoil here
It makes one afraid to raise those that's dear

Ray, we cannot express in words how we really feel
But, the wounds embedded in our hearts, shall never heal
Our dreams at night are still in memory of you
And all the funny and serious things you used to do

I pray our family will meet with you someday
On that golden and rightous pathway,
You'll greet us with a happy hand
And say "Welcome Family, it's so good to see you again".

Linda wrote this poem for our brother
after he was killed in an auto accident at the age of 18.
We still miss him so much after all these years.
I'm so thankful she wrote this poem in his memory.
