Ray

Oh Lord - On this most Memorial Day in May
...We Pray...
That Thou will erase from our minds
The most tragic, unforgetable accident of our times

Lord, Thou knowth how hard we have tried
To accept Thy will since the moment Ray died,
But somehow our lonely hearts cannot rid the grief
WE are still praying for your comforting everlasting relief

Lord, we realize no longer will this day be the same
For it was this day, 3 years passed, that our dreadful mourning came,
And, regardless of the three years elasped
We still feel the wonderful world we knew has collapsed

We humbly pray Thy will lend a merciful hand
To help us withstand,
The lonelyness and suffering we'll continue to feel
Throughout the forthcoming years, that are so reluctant to heal

Linda wrote this poem in memory of our brother
after he was tragically killed in an auto accident at the age of 18.
We still miss him so much after all these years.
If you have lost a loved one so needlessly, my heart goes out to you.
It is my prayer that you will lean on God through the grief and sadness you feel.
May God comfort you and hold you in His loving arms.
