To The Man I Love

I know this isn’t much
…BUT…
There is nothing I could possibly say or do
To express how much “I truly love you,”
Perhaps, writing this poem will, somewhat, convey
How very special you are to me, on this Valentine’s Day
…AND…
Even though I often take you for granted
In my heart, I’m really over-joyed and enchanted,
Because, to me, nothing’s more important than being your wife
And, having you near for the rest of my life
…So, Please Remember…
Regardless of how I act or what appears to be
You are the only man in this world for me,
And, As a gift, there’s a promise I would like to make
That I’ll share and give more than I ask for or take
