Another granddaughter or grandson for me
I wonder which one God will give me next
Will it be a she or a he?

Time went by and now we know
In April a baby girl was born
She’s so sweet, a sight to see
Another granddaughter, just for me.

Her steps are short like mine
She doesn’t say “Now hurry up”
She always takes her time
I like to walk with Grandma
Her eyes see things like mine do..
Wee pebbles bright, a funny cloud
Half-hidden drops of dew
Most people have to hurry
They do not stop and see
I’m glad the God made Grandma
